Royal Brinkman was established in 1885 and has, therefore, been in the field of horticulture. In the early days, Mr. C. Brinkman started the company from a property in 's-Gravenzande (Netherlands) with the sales of, amongst other items, "sparrie twine" used for tying asparagus into bundles, crates and tarpaulins for the Westland barges. Presently, more than 100 years later, Brinkman is one of the world's leading, reputable suppliers in horticulture and has well over 400 employees.
